St. Vasilios

St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church

Greek School

The oldest continuously functioning educational program of St. Vasilios Church is its Greek School. The school was established at the time of the parish's founding and has continued since then without interruption. The purpose of its curriculum is to offer young people a working knowledge of the Greek language, and an appreciation for the culture and incomparable history of the Greek people. All of our teachers are bilingual, and every attempt is made to adjust the curriculum to the individual abilities and skills of our children, who come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The Greek School operates on a daily basis from 3-5 p.m.; pupils attend 3 days one week, and two days the following week, for a total of 5 days of instruction every two weeks. Children must be in the second grade in order to enroll in the Greek School program. To contact our Greek School principal, Ms. Emily Korkaris, write to her via e-mail emeca@aol.com.
