We are part of the church because through our baptism we have become members of one family, whose head is Jesus Christ. In the church, we are nurtured and sustained by the grace of a sacramental life, we are instructed in our faith, and we encourage one another during our journey of hope on this earth Church membership also allows us to poor our resources, both spiritual and temporal, into a common effort to preserve and defend our faith, to share it with others, and to pass it on to the generations who will follow.
In order for this to happen, however, we must have a sense of belonging, and an understanding of our unity in Jesus Christ. Adults need this vision even more than the younger members of our parish. The most important way that we accomplish this is through our worship together, in which we offer in unison our glory to God and are strengthened by our sharing of the sacraments.
Another way is through our active participation in the adult activities, programs, and organizations of our parish. These programs have two purposes; to build up the kingdom of God in our midst, and to prove us with opportunity for fellowship. We invite you to earnestly consider these ministries of our parish.
