Saint Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church of Peabody, MA shines at their Annual Greek Festival in mid October. Come join us in the church’s Rev. Andrew J. Demotses Educational Center where our Greek cuisine will be abundant with such favorites as Roast Lamb, Oven roasted Lamb Shanks, Greek Style Stuffed Peppers, Baked Haddock, Pasticchio, Moussaka, Authentic Gyro with Tzatziki, Souvlakia and Spanokopita, as well as a full bar. And don't miss the delicious sweets that await you in our Kafenio - Baklava, Diples, Galaktobouriko, Kourambiethes, Finikia, Greek Coffee and liqueurs and everyone's favorite Loukoumades!
For those who love to dance, live Greek music will fill the center on Friday and Saturday nights, and a performance of traditional folk dancing on Saturday should not be missed, as well as our Greek School Children’s group showing their dancing talents on Sunday afternoon. Our Shopping and Vendor Booths will offer jewelry, clothing, religious items, fall décor, plants, pumpkins and other various merchandise to browse and buy, and our raffle gives you the chance to win a week’s vacation in a 1 bedroom condo as well as other wonderful prizes. A children’s room with organized crafts and live entertainment will ensure fun for kids of all ages.
